He asserted that there is huge decay in the nation’s education and health sectors, leveraging the actualisation of the new realities on the sectors to breed human capital needed for viable technopreneurship. He decried that Nigeria’s economy is at great risk considering the population projection by year 2050, adding that there is dire need for the emergence of technopreneurship and technopreneurs to catalyse the nation’s development in all facets. His words, “The role of technopreneurship in national development and economic competitiveness has been established. “Technopreneurship can therefore be a platform for policy makers to forge a Nigerian economy that is knowledge based and innovation driven. In the course of problem solving, new businesses are created and exiting ones are made stronger and competitive.”
